VO2 max Introduction—

Fitness can be measured by the volume of oxygen you can consume while exercising at your maximum capacity. VO2 max is the maximum amount of oxygen in milliliters, one can use in one minute per kilogram of body weight. Those who are fit have higher VO2 max values and can exercise more intensely than those who are not as well conditioned. Will Schneider's specialized training programs will teach you how to achieve this elite performance in a very short amount of time.

Philosophy—

My goal is for you to achieve the greatest gains in the shortest time with the least amount of suffering. For me to help you reach your goals, I will design training plans that focus on the body and the mind. Through continual gains in strength, speed, endurance, mental calmness, relaxation, and nutrition, I will help you attain a great level of fitness throughout the year, setting the foundation to achieve peak fitness for your targeted events.

Physical Training—

My training plans incorporate the latest developments in exercise physiology to design a program tailored to each rider. The detailed program, which utilizes specific heart rate or wattage zone, is designed to improve on each rider's weakness while maintaining their strengths. Equally important is that the program builds in time for full recovery and rest at specific times to allow continual improvement and avoid reaching a plateau, or worse, burn-out.

Mental Training—

The mind is probably the single most important part of our bodies that we need to train, but this type of training has always been extremely subjective. Now, through years of experience as an athlete, I've developed a program to keep your mind sharp, confident, and relaxed. The mind requires just as much, if not more, periodization…

Client Coach Relationship—

Every person learns and develops in a different way. What works for some people won't work at all for someone else. This is why I try to establish a close personal relationship with each client, so we can figure out together the best way to accomplish your goals.

Life and Training—

My programs are designed to be flexible (if needed) to revolve around whatever unexpected issues arrive. I often hear people remark that they don't want to work with a coach because they don't have enough time. However, having only a few hours a week to train is one of the best reasons to be on a training program, as we focus on efficiency and remove all of the guesswork.
